2 Died in Bandit Attack on Fulani Settlement in Rigachikun LGA

Two individuals have been killed in a suspected bandit attack on a Fulani settlement in Girku village, Rigachikun Local Government Area, Kaduna State. LeadNaija reports.

Our source Zagazola Makama, revealed that the attack occurred on the night of April 9, 2025, when a group of armed bandits invaded the settlement of Alhaji Likita, opening fire on the villagers.

The victims, identified as Ya’u Likita, aged 28, and Abubakar Nagoggo, aged 30, were shot during the attack and sustained serious injuries. Despite being rushed to the Kujama Primary Health Care for treatment, both victims were confirmed dead by medical personnel.

The bandits also carted away an unspecified number of cattle before fleeing the scene.
