Supporters of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) on Saturday stirred fresh political excitement after displaying campaign flags promoting former President Goodluck Jonathan and Bauchi State Governor Bala Mohammed as presidential and vice-presidential candidates for the 2027 general elections.
The flags, boldly printed with campaign-style images and slogans, were waved by enthusiastic delegates at the venue of the PDP national convention, drawing attention and sparking conversations among party faithful.
Observers at the convention told LeadNaija News that the appearance of the Jonathan–Bala banners has intensified speculation over possible realignments within the party as it prepares to reposition ahead of 2027.
