Abia State Governor, Alex Otti, has said that he is not in a position to oppose President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s re-election bid ahead of the 2027 general elections.
The governor made this known on Friday during the March edition of his monthly media chat, while responding to comments by the lawmaker representing Isialangwa North and South, Ginger Onwusibe, who had earlier stated that Otti would not stand against Tinubu’s second-term ambition.
Backing the position, Otti said, “I am not in a position to oppose the candidacy of the President. I am not running for President.
