2027: Jigawa Governor Endorses Tinubu For Second Term

As the political campaign for the 2027 general election begins, Jigawa State Governor Malam Umar Namadi has declared his total support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s second-term bid.

The Governor declared his support during a public function known as “Government and Citizens Engagement” (Gwamnatin Da Jama’a) held in Roni Local Government Area of the state.
Governor Namadi was visibly seen in public for the first time, raising both hands with four fingers extended, symbolising his full support and commitment to the Tinubu administration.

The governor was also seen standing while a popular song by Rarara was played; the song praises the president and endorses his second term.

While fielding questions from journalists shortly after the event, Governor Namadi said he was happy with the mammoth crowd that received him in Roni Local Government.

Governor Namadi added that the people of Jigawa are satisfied with President Bola Tinubu’s exemplary and impactful leadership, which has improved their social and economic lives.

“Jigawa is for President Bola Tinubu, and we will deliver the state to him come 2027, Insha’Allah,” he stated.

The governor also called on the state’s people to continue praying to Almighty Allah to guide President Tinubu and all other leaders with the strength and wisdom to make Nigeria a prosperous and great nation characterized by peace, stability, and sustainable growth.
