Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar and the 2023 presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has said he is more interested in Nigeria getting better than being a president.
The former vice president made this known while speaking at the affirmative ceremony organised for new defectors into the African Democratic Congress (ADC) in Lagos on Saturday, August 23.
PDP, LP members join ADC in Lagos
According to The Vanguard, some members of the PDP and the Labour Party dumped their parties for the ADC at the ceremony. Atiku, who was the guest speaker at the event, was represeted by Professor Ola Olateju of the Achiever University, Owo, in Ondo State.
The former PDP presidential candidate recently resigned his membership from the leading opposition party for the ADC. He did that along with other opposition leaders.
