The South East Renewed Hope Agenda (SERHA) has reportedly asked prominent Northern politicians thinking about seeking the presidency in 2027 to back incumbent Bola Ahmed Tinubu instead, as reported by Arise TV.
There has been criticism of Tinubu’s economic policies, but SERHA maintains that he has stabilised Nigeria’s government and is making efforts to solve the country’s social and economic problems.
The political dynamics for the forthcoming elections will start to take shape in 2025, according to Belusochukwu Enwere, the South East Coordinator for SERHA.
In his almost two years as governor, he said, Tinubu has accomplished a lot. Some of his most recent initiatives have been in Enugu State, and they highlight his good impact on the nation.
The need of Northern political figures rethinking their presidential aspirations and letting Tinubu continue as leader was stressed by Enwere.
He thinks that Africa and Nigeria both need Tinubu’s continued leadership. Said the group,
“For the political hawks in the North seeking to unseat him and take over in 2027, we advise that they chicken out of the contest and wait for their turn again. For Tinubu, it’s 4 + 4 = 8
President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s determination to lift Nigeria and by extension Africa out of poverty is evident that there is no vacancy in Aso rock come 2027. Our determination to support him realise this mandate is a battle of No Retreat, No Surrender.”Tap Here for the Full Story
