Former Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike, has dismissed the impact of a political coalition in the recently concluded by-election, insisting that Nigerians have already rejected the group at the polls.
Wike, speaking on channel TV today, said the coalition failed to make any meaningful impact in the exercise, adding that the outcome reflected the people’s verdict.
“Nigerians have already rejected the coalition in this by-election; they didn’t make any impact,” Wike stated.
His remarks come amid ongoing debates over the relevance of political alliances and their ability to challenge established parties ahead of future elections.
