Tshwane Metro Police Department (TMPD) drug unit officers have arrested a 22‑year‑old Nigerian national after finding a large quantity of illegal drugs with an estimated street value of R250 000 in Olievenhoutbosch.

The arrest took place on Friday, when metro police acting on intelligence stopped the suspect in the Pretoria East suburb of Olievenhoutbosch and discovered the narcotics in his possession. The substances are believed to include a mixture of mandrax and cocaine.
