Oluwalayomi Fadero, a 23-year-old fisk university graduate, was reportedly killed when a driver in an alleged stolen pickup truck struck her while she was turning into her neighborhood on hickory woods drive in Nashville.
She was on her way home, and her dog, nala, who was in the car with her, survived the crash. The incident has left friends, family, and the community in shock.
Oluwalayomi, who held a bachelor’s degree in computer science with a minor in business administration, was pursuing an accelerated nursing degree at the university of tennessee at chattanooga, set to graduate in August 2026.
