At least 27 people have died following a cholera outbreak that has affected six Local Government Areas in Borno State.
The Borno State government reported a total of 2,715 suspected cases of the disease within the first 24 days of May 2026.
An epidemiological report released by the state shows the affected LGAs as Jere, Mafa, Konduga, Monguno, Ngala, and Magumeri.
According to the report, Jere LGA recorded the highest number of cases with 834, followed by Mafa (159), Konduga (95), Monguno (56), Ngala (2), and Magumeri (1).Tap To Read Complete, Details. .
