Ondo state police command has arrested a suspected car theft after unsuccessful operation in Akure.
According to Ondo Police through their X page announced that the suspect has been in removing car spare part and sell it out to car dealer and spare part seller Mr Waheed aka Elubo which are currently in custody.
The police wrote” Rotimi, a 38 years old man is the one behind stolen vehicles (removal from Parks) in Akure, he claimed to have moved seven vehicles out of the state. Two sold to a car dealer ( Temidayo Folajimi) while the remaining five (5) were sold to a spare part seller in Lagos.”
The vehicles he claimed he removed from where parked includes:
Two (2) Toyota Camry Popularly known as tiny light, one Honda CRV car, two (2) Toyota Corolla 2003 and 2005 model, 2 Toyota Corolla.
