The body of a 40-year-old woman who went missing earlier this week has been discovered in a river, prompting an investigation by authorities.
The South African Police Service (SAPS) has confirmed that the remains of Madeline Thandazile Ngomane were found floating in a river adjacent to Nelspruit Crushers on Wednesday, 18 February 2026.

According to family statements, she intended to catch a bus into town to meet with an individual regarding a new job opportunity.
