A medical doctor has stirred buzz online after comparing his 7-year salary in Nigeria and 6-month salary in the United Kingdom (UK).
The medical practitioner, Dr. Tolu. disclosed this via the microblogging platform, X (formerly Twitter).
According to Dr. Tolu, after completing medical school, he lived with his parents, until he was nearly 30.
Prior to relocating to the United Kingdom, he didn’t have a vehicle, despite engaging in several occupations.
In his post, the medical practitioner disclosed that he worked for 7 years, of which none of the occupations earned him ₦185,000 monthly.
However, he enrolled for an exam and moved to the United Kingdom, revealing that his six months’ salary in the UK exceeds his 7-year salary in Nigeria.
