An enlarged liver, also called hepatomegaly, is not a condition you should ignore.

It is usually a sign that something deeper is going on in the body, such as infection, fatty liver disease, alcohol-related damage, or other health problems.

The liver is a key organ that helps clean your blood, so when it is struggling, your body starts showing warning signs.

One of the first symptoms people notice is discomfort or a dull pain in the upper right side of the abdomen. It may feel like pressure or heaviness, especially when lying down or after eating.

Constant tiredness is another common sign. Even after a full night’s sleep, you may still feel drained. This happens because the liver is not filtering toxins efficiently, affecting your energy levels.

You might also lose your appetite without trying. Food may feel less appealing, and you may get full very quickly. Over time, this can lead to unplanned weight loss.

Bloating or a swollen belly can also appear. This may make your clothes feel tighter around the waist, even if your diet has not changed.

Some people feel nauseous or even vomit from time to time. This is because liver problems can disturb normal digestion.

A more serious warning sign is yellowing of the skin or eyes, known as jaundice. It happens when waste products build up in the blood instead of being removed properly.

You may also notice dark urine or unusually pale stool. These changes are your body’s way of signaling that bile flow is not normal.Access More; The Full Articles. .
