BREAKING: Kano Orders Closure of Schools for Eid-el-Kabir

The Kano State Ministry of Education has declared a break for Eid-el-Kabir for all public and private primary and secondary schools in the state.

This was disclosed in a statement issued on Wednesday by the Director of Public Enlightenment at the ministry, Misbahu Yakasai.

According to the directive, boarding schools are to commence their holiday on Saturday, May 23, 2026, and are expected to resume on Sunday, May 31, 2026.

In the same vein, day schools will begin their Sallah break on Friday, May 22, 2026, and resume academic activities on Monday, June 1, 2026.Tap To Read Complete, Details. .
