Plateau State Governor, Caleb Mutfwang, secured a sweeping victory in the All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship primary after polling 233,335 votes to defeat his rival, Yilchini Jan Bida, who garnered 3,070 votes across the 17 Local Government Areas of the state.
The results, announced on Friday night at the APC State Secretariat in Jos by the Chairman of the APC Committee for the Plateau State House of Assembly and Governorship Primary Election, Fidelis Mnyim Bemse, showed that Mutfwang dominated the contest in all wards and polling units across the state.
