Troops of 17 Brigade deployed at Forward Operating Base (FOB) Dansabau have rescued two kidnapped victims during a patrol in Kankara Local Government Area of Katsina State.
Sources told Zagazola Makama that the rescue operation took place at about 8:58 a.m. on May 25 at Pauwa Hill.
According to the sources, the victims were recovered during a routine patrol by the troops in the area.
The sources disclosed that preliminary findings showed the victims were abducted about two months earlier at Unguwan Gidan Alkali.
They added that the rescued victims were subsequently handed over to officials of Kankara Local Government Area for further action and reunification with their families.Tap To Read Complete, Details. .
