The Nigerian Army has continued to strengthen troop welfare and operational efficiency in the North-East theatre through its welfare flight programme and a series of reforms aimed at improving the well-being of personnel engaged in counter-insurgency operations.

Military sources disclosed that the Chief of Army Staff (COAS) Welfare Flight for June 2026 successfully transported 332 military personnel into and out of the Theatre of Operation Hadin Kai.

According to the sources, the welfare flight, conducted on June 2 using a chartered ValueJet aircraft, airlifted 174 personnel into the theatre while 158 personnel were moved out.Get The Full, Details. .
