Federal Government has congratulated Ambassador Jimoh Ibrahim on his election as Chairman of the UN Budget and Administration Committee.
Foreign Affairs Minister, in a statement, says the election reflects Nigeria’s growing influence in multilateral diplomacy.
Bianca Ojukwu described it as a vote of confidence in Nigeria’s commitment to UN efficiency, transparency, and accountability.
The Minister expressed confidence that Ambassador Ibrahim will bring his experience to bear in managing UN’s budget and administrative affairs.
The Minister also reaffirmed Nigeria’s resolve to partner with member states to advance peace and sustainable development.
