All Quarter-finals Fixtures Confirmed For 2025 Club World Cup

The round of 16 stage of the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup is finally over, and the fixtures of the quarter-final stage are officially confirmed.

The last set of the round of 16 games in the Club World Cup took place on Saturday night and early this morning across the United States.

In the game that took place on Saturday night, European football giants Real Madrid knocked out another European giant, Juventus, with just a lone goal.

At the Hard Rock Stadium in Miami, in front of 62,149 spectators, Real Madrid’s new signing, Trent Alexander-Arnold, provided an assist to Gonzalo García in the 54th minute, which sealed the slim 1-0 win.

While in the game that took place earlier today, German Bundesliga side Borussia Dortmund enjoyed a very dominant first half against Mexican club Monterrey.

29-year-old Guinea international, Serhou Guirassay, scored the match opener in the 14th minute and doubled the lead in the 24th minute to seal the victory for Dortmund in the first half.

However, the Mexican side fought back in the second half as they got a goal back in the 48th minute through the boots of Germán Berterame. Unfortunately, that wasn’t enough to stop Dortmund as the game ended 2-1 in favour of the German side.

Following the said games, Real Madrid will face Borussia Dortmund in the quarter-finals at 9 p.m. on Saturday, July 5.

Al-Hilal, who stunned Premier League giants, Manchester City 4-3 on Tuesday, will face Brazilian giants, Fluminense, in the quarter-finals at 8 p.m. on Friday, July 4.

Chelsea will face Brazilian side Palmeiras at 02:00 on Saturday, while the reigning UEFA Champions League winners, Paris Saint-Germain, will face off against Bayern Munich at 5 p.m. on Saturday.

Note that Jude Bellingham will not have the opportunity to play against his younger brother, Jobe Bellingham, when Real Madrid clash with Borussia Dortmund.

This is because the 19-year-old English youngster was shown a yellow card during Dortmund’s 2-1 win over Monterrey. The booking was his second in the 2025 Club World Cup, hence, he has been ruled out of the next game.
