Obi, a former governor of the state, is scheduled to vote at Umudimakasi, Agulu Ward 2, Polling Unit 008, where residents and supporters had already converged in anticipation of his arrival.

Election officials at the centre confirmed that accreditation had begun, but the LP chieftain was yet to appear at the location.

Dozens of supporters lingered around the venue, waiting to catch a glimpse of the former presidential candidate and assess the voting mood in his hometown.

Naija News reports that residents across Anambra State are heading to the polls today to determine the state’s political direction, with much attention focused on Agulu, where Obi commands significant grassroots support.
