APC Disowns Fake Membership Slip Linking Terrorist Turji to Party

The All Progressives Congress (APC) has dismissed as fake and misleading a purported party membership slip circulating on social media that falsely links notorious terrorist Mohammed Bello Turji to the ruling party.

According to the party, all the digital details displayed on the alleged membership slip do not correspond with records from the ongoing APC Electronic Registration and Validation Exercise.

The APC further pointed out that the slip claimed the registration took place in “Ward 13” of Shinkafi Local Government Area of Zamfara State—an anomaly, as Shinkafi LGA officially has only 10 wards.

“The membership slip is a fabrication, fake and without any association or link whatsoever with our membership register and database,” the party said.

Describing the development as a deliberate act of misinformation, the APC accused unnamed mischief makers of attempting to deceive the public and tarnish the image of the party for “sinister objectives.”+See more details. .
