The National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Prof. Nentawe Goshwe Yilwatda, today accompanied by former APC National Chairman, Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje visited the Singer Market in Kano to commiserate with traders over the massive fire that gutted the market from Saturday night.

The inferno destroyed numerous shops and goods worth billions of naira, leaving hundreds of traders devastated.
During the visit, the APC chairman expressed deep condolences to the affected traders and market community for the tragic incident, which occurred just a day earlier.

Dr. Yilwatda spent time interacting with victims at the scene, assessing the extent of the damage and offering words of sympathy on behalf of the party.
The cause of the fire is yet to be officially determined, but preliminary reports suggest it started late Saturday evening and rapidly spread through sections of the popular commercial hub.
Traders have appealed for urgent government assistance to help them recover from the huge financial losses.
