The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ogun has suspended the senator representing Ogun East and former governor of the state, Gbenga Daniel, over allegations of engaging in anti-party activities.

Daniel was suspended along with Hon. Kunle Folarin for the same reason. This was announced in a statement by Nuberu Olufemi, the director of publicity of the APC and made available to journalists in Abeokuta, the state capital, on Tuesday, August 20.

According to Vanguard, Olufemi explained that Daniel and Folarin were suspended by their wards, which were Ward 4 and Ward 6, in the Sagamu local government area of the state. The move followed their failure to appear before a disciplinary committee, which was set ..Continue..Reading..
