Arewa Group Condemns Borno Suicide Bomb Blast

The Arewa Consultative Forum, ACF, has condemned in strong terms the suicide bomb attack at a Mosque in Maiduguri, Borno State that occurred on Wednesday, 24th December, 2025.

The bomb at the Mosque led to the killing of many people, while others sustained various degrees of injuries.+See more details

A statement issued by the forum’s National Publicity Secretary, Prof. T. A. Muhammad-Baba said, “We mourn the dead and pray for the peaceful repose of their souls.

We commiserate with the injured and wish them quick return to health in the shortest time possible.”

ACF extended condolences to the families of the dead and sympathized with those injured.

According to the statement, ACF also extended condolences to the Government and people of Borno State and indeed Nigeria as a whole, saying that the sad event is a grim reminder that the scourge of terrorism and insecurity are yet to be tamed.+See more details

The statement explained that the fight against insecurity is one that the concerned authorities must take to the merchants of terror with all the vigor that the problem deserves.
