Barcelona striker, Robert Lewandowski, has picked two of his team-mates as favourites to win the Ballon d’Or this year.
Lewandowski believes Lamine Yamal and Raphinha will be among the frontrunners to be named the best player in the world.
Yamal and Raphinha both enjoyed impressive seasons as Barca won a domestic Treble.
The two wide players produced a combined 100 direct goal contributions last season.
Yamal and Raphinha both made the 30-man shortlist of nominees the 2025 Ballon d’Or released last week.
“Lamine Yamal’s season was incredible, but in the end it all depends on the most important thing,” Lewandowski told BBC in an interview.
“He still has a lot of time left, if not this year, then maybe next year.
“Raphinha also had an amazing season. We have players who could be favourites to win this award.”
