Fresh insecurity concerns have emerged in Zamfara State as bandits, early Sunday morning, launched a deadly attack on farmers working in Adabka, a community on the outskirts of Bukkuyum Local Government Area.
During the assault, the gunmen killed a farmer identified as Mukhtar Abdullahi Adabka and abducted several others who were harvesting crops on their farmlands.
A local security tracker, Bakastine, who reported the incident via the microblogging platform X, described the attack as deeply troubling, especially at the peak of the harvesting season.

According to him, “It’s very worrisome seeing bandits continue their atrocities against farmers in the northwest region of Nigeria during this harvesting period.”
Residents say the continuous assaults on farming communities threaten food production and worsen the already fragile security situation in the region..click on the Read Original at the top to read Full news if you’re reading from Phoenix
