Following a series of military operations that resulted in significant losses for his group in Fakai and Shinkafi, notorious bandit leader Bello Turji is reported to have established a new camp ^Photos in the dense forest located between Dutsi and Yan Buki, in eastern Moriki.
Sources indicate that the camp is being used as a strategic base for regrouping Turji’s fighters, providing treatment for injured members, and holding kidnapped victims from recent attacks in Fakai, Kagara, and Maberaya.
Other bandits groups who escaped military onslaught are seeking refuge around Gidan Jaja, Mayasa and Kwashabawa.
