Fresh evidence has revealed that a recent remark by Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike, regarding his participation in the affairs of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) was false.
Wike, during a television interview on Tuesday, claimed he had not been invited to the forthcoming National Executive Committee (NEC) meeting and denied knowledge of the planned national convention in Ibadan.
However, documents released by the PDP suggest otherwise. A letter dated July 10, 2025, and signed by the party’s National Secretary, Senator Samuel N. The document, stamped by Wike’s office on July 18, acknowledged receipt at 3:19 p.m., contradicting his assertion that no formal communication had reached him.
