Gospel music crusader and business mogul, John CDO Ikeotuoye, has alleged that former Anambra State governor, Peter Obi, once turned down football legend Kanu Nwankwo when he sought financial help for his heart surgery.
Speaking on the Talk True Podcast, John claimed that Obi bluntly told Kanu he would not spend his money on such a cause. According to him, after Obi’s refusal, Kanu turned to former Lagos State governor, Bola Tinubu, who allegedly provided the funds that enabled the Nigerian football icon to undergo the life-saving operation.
