Former Governor of Kaduna State, Nasir El-Rufai, has formally resigned from the Social Democratic Party (SDP).
In a new political move, El-Rufai has now officially joined the African Democratic Congress (ADC).
Details surrounding his defection are still emerging, but his switch to the ADC comes amid ongoing political realignments ahead of upcoming national elections.
