BREAKING: Enugu Air To Launch First-ever Commercial Flight

Enugu State is set to make history when Enugu Air inaugurates its first-ever commercial flight on Monday, July 7, 2025.

The airline, backed by the state government and in partnership with Xejet, will take to the skies with three Embraer jets—two 76-seat E‑170s and one 100-seat E‑190.

Operator: XEjet, an established Nigerian airline, will manage flight operations under a commercial agreement to ensure safety, sustainability, and efficiency.

Starting July 7, Enugu Air will offer direct connections between Enugu and Lagos, Abuja, and Port Harcourt.

Plans are also in place to expand to Kano and other key domestic destinations before rolling out regional flights across West and Central Africa later this year.
