The Federal Capital Territory Administration (FCTA) has directed all its workers to resume work with immediate effect following an order of the National Industrial Court suspending the ongoing strike action by FCT staff.

The directive also mandates Permanent Secretaries as well as Heads of Departments and Agencies to ensure strict maintenance of the Staff Attendance Register.
The development comes after the National Industrial Court ordered the suspension of the industrial action embarked upon by the Joint Union Action Committee (JUAC) of the FCT Administration.
According to the court order, the strike action was put on hold pending further hearing and resolution of the issues in dispute, effectively compelling a return to normal administrative activities within the FCTA.
