The Federal Government has raised the alarm over Nigerians allegedly being recruited into foreign armed conflicts under the guise of lucrative jobs, security work, and migration offers.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated that victims are misled, forced to sign military contracts abroad and, in some cases, deployed to combat zones after their documents are seized.
The FG warned that joining foreign conflicts outside approved government frameworks may breach Nigerian and international laws, and those involved do so at their own risk.
Investigations are ongoing as authorities move to clamp down on the recruitment networks.
