At least five United States Air Force refuelling aircraft were damaged following an Iranian missile strike on a U.S. military installation in Saudi Arabia, while another tanker plane crashed over Iraq, killing six American servicemen.
Reports indicate that the aircraft—KC-135 Stratotanker refuelling planes—were struck while on the ground at the Prince Sultan Air Base during Iranian missile attacks targeting the base.
