Governor Uba Sani of Kaduna State has officially signed into law the bill establishing the Kaduna State College of Agricultural Technology and Environmental Sciences, located in Lere Local Government Area.
The new institution is aimed at advancing agricultural innovation, environmental research, and sustainable technology development to boost food security and create employment opportunities for the state’s growing youth population.
Governor Sani emphasized that the college will serve as a catalyst for modernizing the agricultural sector and strengthening Kaduna’s position as a leading hub for agribusiness and environmental education in northern Nigeria.
He reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to expanding access to technical and vocational education that directly supports economic diversification and rural development.
