Port Harcourt, Nigeria — In a significant move to address unemployment and boost the state’s workforce, the Sole Administrator of Rivers State, retired Vice Admiral Ibok-Ete Ekwe Ibas, has approved the recruitment of 10,000 eligible candidates into the Rivers State civil service.
The recruitment exercise, which is set to commence in the coming weeks, will be open to both graduates and non-graduates, according to sources within the state government. This initiative is aimed at creating more job opportunities for residents, especially youths, and enhancing productivity across various government ministries and agencies.
