BREAKING: Igbo Youth Leaders Condemn Fake Report Attributed to Ohanaeze President-General

Igbo youth leaders have strongly condemned a fake news report allegedly quoting the President-General of Ohanaeze Ndigbo Worldwide, Senator John Mbata, as calling on Igbo men to arm themselves in anticipation of war.

The widely circulated report falsely claimed that Senator Mbata urged Igbo men aged 18 and above to acquire weapons, warning that “a war is coming.” The statement, which spread rapidly across social media platforms, has since been described as false and misleading.

Reacting to the development, the Igbo Youth Leaders and Stakeholders Assembly dismissed the report as fabricated, stressing that the Ohanaeze leader never made such comments.
