The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has declared Bright Ngene of the Labour Party (LP) as the winner of the Enugu South Urban Constituency rerun election, despite his ongoing seven-year imprisonment for a communal matter.
INEC declared Ngene the winner after repeated disruptions since 2024.Ngene secured the highest number of votes, defeating PDP’s Sam Ngene.
