The 2026 World Cup is slated to be held in the U.S., Canada and Mexico starting June 11th. Iran is scheduled to play two matches in Los Angeles as well as one in Seattle.

There is, of course, nothing inappropriate about the Iranian team showing up to compete in a competition in which they’ve worked hard to earn a spot. What is inappropriate is our demented pedophile of a president trying to scare them off as he wages an illegal war against their homeland on behalf of Israel.
The suggestion that there would be some kind of danger posed to the “life and safety” of the players is especially shameful. The American people bear no ill will towards the innocent people of Iran.
