The Kaduna State Government has expressed concern about the low turnout of citizens in the ongoing voter registration exercise and is taking steps to address this issue.

Governor Uba Sani has directed the mobilization of eligible voters to ensure broader participation in the democratic process.

Preliminary reports from the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) indicated that Kaduna State and the Northwest region are lagging in registration figures.

The government has local government chairmen, traditional leaders, religious institutions, and the media to intensify their efforts in mobilizing voters.
