Following an emergency security meeting, Kaiama Local Government Chairman Hon. Abubakar Abdullahi Danladi has declared a daily curfew from 9:00 PM to 6:00 AM across the entire LGA, effective immediately.
The measure aims to protect lives and property amid escalating security challenges.
All vehicular and pedestrian movement is banned during these hours, with security operatives deployed to enforce compliance.
Danladi urged residents to cooperate, calling it a necessary step to stabilize the situation.
