The lead counsel representing the detained leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu, has withdrawn from the case.

Chief Kanu Agabi (SAN), who has been at the forefront of Kanu’s legal defense, formally announced his withdrawal in court today.

Agabi informed the court that his decision followed Nnamdi Kanu’s expressed desire to personally handle his legal representation going forward.
