Prosecutor Mkhuseli Ntaba was handling the extortion and money laundering case against prominent Mpumalanga taxi boss Madoda Johannes “Joe Ferrari” Sibanyoni and three co-accused.

The group allegedly ran a protection racket demanding over R2 million from a local businessman.

Today, Monday, 18 May 2026, the Kwaggafontein Magistrates’ Court struck the matter off the roll after Ntaba failed to appear despite a direct order from the magistrate.

The court issued a warrant for the prosecutor’s arrest and found him in contempt.
