The President of the Omoku Youth Federation, Comrade Ifeanyi Azuazu, has been killed alongside his aide, Chigozie Oluwu, following a violent attack reportedly carried out by suspected cultists in Omoku, Rivers State.
The incident occurred on Thursday at a popular drinking spot along Ogolo Street, off Palace Road, in Ogba/Egbema/Ndoni Local Government Area (ONELGA).
According to eyewitness accounts, the assailants stormed the location and launched a deadly attack on the youth leader and his aide, leaving both victims dead before fleeing the scene.
Security operatives were later alerted and have since commenced investigations to identify and apprehend those responsible.
