The All Progressives Congress (PDP) has confirmed that its governorship primary election in Osun State will hold on Tuesday, December 2, 2025, in Osogbo.
The clarification was contained in an official public notice signed by the party’s National Organising Secretary, Hon. Theophilus Dakas Shan, issued on Monday.
According to the statement, the primaries follow the successful conclusion of ad-hoc and national delegates congresses conducted on November 24 and November 29, 2025.
The notice reads in part: “The Party hereby reminds strategic stakeholders and the general public that the primaries to elect the gubernatorial candidate will hold as follows:
Date: 2nd December, 2025
Venue: Atlantis Multipurpose Hall, Ring Road, Osogbo, Osun State
Time: 10am.”
The party also announced that an Electoral Committee has been constituted to supervise the conduct of the primaries and ensure full compliance with party guidelines.
PDP further warned aspirants to conduct themselves within the limits of the party constitution, stressing that any act of misconduct would attract strict sanctions.
“The candidates cleared for the primaries are advised to behave in accordance with the provisions of our party’s constitution and in the interest of law and order, as any act of indiscipline will be severely punished,” the statement added.

Security arrangements and final logistics are reportedly in place ahead of the exercise.
