The Plateau State Police Command has announced the death of retired Commissioner of Police Danjuma Kromda.
Sources said Kromda died on Saturday at the Jos University Teaching Hospital (JUTH) after a protracted illness.
According to the sources, it received a statement received from CP Jimwan David Dazong (rtd), the late senior officer was a resident of Longwa Phase II, opposite Solomon Lar Amusement Park, along Domkat Bali Road in Jos South Local Government Area.
Police said the corpse has been deposited at the JUTH mortuary, while details of the burial arrangement will be announced in due course.
