President Bola Tinubu has transmitted a list of three nominees for ambassadorial appointments to the Senate, seeking their confirmation as Non-Career Ambassadors.
The announcement was made during Tuesday’s plenary session by Senate President Godswill Akpabio, who read out the names forwarded by the President.
The three nominees are:
- Kayode Are – Ogun State
- Aminu Dalhatu – Jigawa State
- Ayodele Oke
The Senate is expected to screen and confirm the nominees in accordance with its constitutional responsibilities.
