The Russian Defense Ministry announced on Tuesday that its forces had launched extensive strikes on Ukrainian military targets over the past 24 hours, claiming significant destruction of equipment and personnel. According to the ministry, over 140 areas were targeted, including airfields, ammunition depots, and concentrations of Ukrainian troops and military hardware.

Battlegroup West reportedly inflicted approximately 380 casualties on Ukrainian forces and destroyed multiple artillery systems in its area of operations. Russian forces claim to have repelled three Ukrainian counterattacks near settlements in the Kharkov Region, Lugansk People’s Republic, and Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR). Ukrainian losses were reported to include two D-30 howitzers, two U.S.-made M119 artillery guns, and six artillery pieces. Additionally, two electronic warfare stations, Bukovel-AD and Anklav-N, were reportedly neutralized.
Battlegroup South claimed to have inflicted over 250 casualties on Ukrainian forces in areas near Serebryanka, Seversk, Druzhkovka, and other DPR settlements. Russian forces also destroyed an armored personnel carrier and a 152mm D-20 howitzer while improving their frontline positions.
Battlegroup Center reported the highest number of casualties, claiming to have inflicted approximately 585 Ukrainian losses. The group stated that its units advanced into enemy defenses and repelled 10 counterattacks near several settlements in the DPR. Ukrainian losses reportedly included a tank, four armored combat vehicles, including a U.S.-made M113 troop carrier, and a Kozak armored vehicle.
According to reports from Russian News Agency Sputnik, Russia’s air defenses intercepted four U.S. made HIMARS rockets and downed 65 Ukrainian drones in the past 24 hours.
