President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on Monday arrived in Brasilia, the capital of Brazil, for a two-day state visit at the invitation of President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva.
The visit is expected to strengthen bilateral ties between Nigeria and Brazil in areas of trade, agriculture, energy, and cultural exchange.
Tinubu, who was received at the Brasilia International Airport by top Brazilian government officials and Nigeria’s Ambassador to Brazil, is scheduled to hold high-level meetings with President Lula da Silva and other senior officials.
According to the Presidency, discussions will also focus on investment opportunities and expanding cooperation between Africa’s largest economy and South America’s biggest nation.
